I know you are useing the word Christian in a negative way but the fallowers of Christ had to be called something, even jews called them Christian back then. They could have been called anything like: Believers in chrsit, Followers of Christ, Disciples of Jesus, anything.

Speaking of pm's I have recieved others since this thread started. Apparently I am not the only one to be bothered by you. Let me put it simply for you. People don't like you. You're insulting, you're callous, you're rude, you treat the opposite sex as if inferior. You treat non christians in a way that leaves much to be desired. It is not your place to judge us. It is not our place to have to explain ourselves to you. We are not evil because we're diferent. You are not good, because you're a christian.
Christian means Christ like, to behave in accordance with Christ's taching. That is more then just to say you believe in Jesus and God. Christ taught tolerance, he taught patience, he taught love. He never condoned killing another person, not once. Jesus did not insult people, he took pity on the weak and the struggling and he sought to help them. He brought his words not to the intelectuals, not to rich, but took it to the poor, he took it into the streets, with the beggars, and the dying, and it was there that he wanted to mingle. The outcasts, the people who were different, the people you disdain, those are the ones Jesus wished to associate with.
And let us not forget it was the established religion that put Jesus to death. Why, for saying something so appaling they could not deal with it. He thought it would be really cool if we all did'nt judge each other and just tried to get along.
