It's not the rules I'm disputing -I just think we could be informed somehow.
I seem to remember that a 'message-in-place-of-a-removed-post' system was to be implemented some time.
Just seems like basic manners to me, plus people would get to know what is and is not acceptable here........one day one thing is ok- next week it's not ok.

I try to PM people who have oversteped the mark. A 'thread removed' message might work, but also might at times clog the forums themselves (although admitadly not that many threads are removed). Speak to Russ...

It's basic manners not to post offensive material.

Besides, it's been clearly outlined numerous times what is and isn't acceptable. If you're unsure than go read the FAQ or one of the many posts by Russ on the subject
