You mean because of the edit? That was formatting which I couldn't see before I had sent the post. Besides, why did you have to edit your post?
Trying to give you a break. Seriously, Nordlys... you come across as a professional artist; and you have some good stuff on your website. But you as an inspiring artist, need to make sure you don't post gibberish... which is what lazy people do.
Originally posted by arrakisHuh? I have no idea what you are talking about. I don't carry a heavy burden (other than that I have had an inflammation in the foot for several weeks now, which is quite annoying). And I don't think I am particularly sloppy either. I almost always proof-read what I have written, but if I have made a mistake at the end of my post, it happens that I notice the mistake and hit the "Post" button at the same time, so I have to go back and edit the post. And sometimes I realize right after I have posted that I have forgotten something. It would be more sloppy not to edit the posts.

Maybe things would be different if you would stop trying to analyze the psyche of people whom you know very little about? Just a thought.

I see you have been editing your post a few times while I was replying. Very sloppy of you. Where did I post gibberish?

a person who habitually drinks a lot of alcohol. The word was coined by Miles Coverdale (1488-1568) in his translation of the first complete printed English Bible: "Kepe no company with wyne bebbers and ryotous eaters of flesh" (Proverbs 23:20). It is rarely used today except for humorous effect.
Originally posted by arrakisNo, I can't see my mistakes, or the mistakes by the author of the quote for that matter. If you were a bit more familiar with this thread, you'd know that I like to post "Erin's Weird and Wonderful Word of the Day" here from time to time, which I get by e-mail from Oxford University Press. Since I have been doing this so often, I don't always give the source (now that may be sloppy). The only part of my post which I had written myself was "Any winebibbers here?" So, where are the mistakes you are talking about? You are not referring to the quote from the 16th century, are you?
What? You can't see your mistakes??? Do I have to teach you 6th grade English?

(Editing out the italics. Oh, and by the way, if you would actually point out real mistakes instead of accusing me of sloppiness, I would be grateful. I have only had four years of English in school, so my English is far from perfect.)

why am i not even surprised?
next we will learn that you first picked up a camera on thursday... 🙄😵
