France is anti-American to the max, therefore I feel that they are not true allies but enemies, and they had dealings and passed sensitive military secret info of US forces to Saddam days before the "liberation" invasion. With friends like that, who needs enemies?
I'm sure that if the French could get away with supplying Iraq with weapons (the way the Americans did in the Iraq-Iran war), they'd do it.
By the way, how do you feel about the American companies, GM, AT&T and IBM supplying NAZI Germany throughout WWII? And then claiming reparations from the american tax payer for their factories in Germany, which were destroyed/damaged in Allied bombing?
