Today's Voting Day in MA

Saturday asked my ninety one years young Mom if she planned to vote on Tuesday... "Of course.

My young friend Jenna will be driving me to the polls after my morning eye doctor appointment".

i probably wouldn't tell her your "news", or at the very least, break it to her gently - the elderly often don't take shocks very well. on the other hand, they say a mother always knows.

Mom has always been a principled lady with unshakeable conviction and a deep regard for her own as well

as the privacy of others. When I asked her about her vote she said, with a laugh, "What do you think?"

introducing the topic of your mum is always a recipe for disaster.

I am always amazed at anonymous rudeness: what a person wouldn't dream of saying in a real-life situation for fear of getting the royal snot knocked out their feeble heads, they show no such compunction to churn out on forums such as is offered here.

People such as yourself, Blackamp, are nothing more than pusillanimous cowards. What makes it worse is your put-on air of bravado.

lol you're the only chump i see here.

tiny little brained man gets angry by words and starts hitting people... that's what children do you know, they don't understand what's going on and so they hit out. their brains aren't developed enough to retaliate with some quick wit of their own.

lets say this is 'real life' blackamp says something against gb's mother and he punches blackamp in the face. blackamp calls the cops and sues gb... what do you think will happen there?

poor gb spends a night in jail and losses few pennies from his pocket because he couldn't reply to a bit of banter...

well, it might play out that way, but only because i wouldn't want to physically hit an old man, even if hit first. besides, guys that old can just have a heart attack even if they just get tapped lightly, and then you're up on major charges. not worth it.

So far turnout is being reported as heavy despite voters having to trudge through light snow.
