GB's comments regarding his mindset in approaching the rancor faced within these forums should not be construed as carte blanche to aggressively hurl the most degrading forms of insult you are able to recall to mind from previous embarrassing personal experiences. While there is much to be said for the creative tacks the two of you have pursued, the redeeming quality of your free-styling only goes so far. After awhile, the stuff sounds more like two junior-high schoolers farting into a microphone.
2. Polite does not equate to political correctness.
3. These forums do not lend themselves to polite intercourse. That is something which is incumbent upon each poster to be vigilant about.
4. GB does not--- by any measure--- require protection from any other poster herein, and most especially from silly little minds such as is possessed by you and your shadow. He has shown himself to be a capable adult in every regard, in complete command of his impressive faculties... in the face of all manner of attack or challenge. Moreover, not only has he adeptly parried each of your clumsy jabs, he has done it with aplomb and good humor.
5. As far as I have read him, GB's post have been singularly minded: nearly all of them are intended to make the reader think. And what has been your reaction? "Screw you," "Your mother's a whore," "And the horse you rode in on," "Change your Depends," ad nauseum. In short, everything but think. On the surface, it appears you are simply afraid of the results, so you refuse to take the challenge.
6. My response to your pack-of-wolves approach is a slap in your face, not a defense of GB. If you don't like being called a coward, stop acting like one. Use the anonymity these threads afford and finally face your fears. Why protect an avatar when it gives you the opportunity to do in a non-threatening environment what you are otherwise loathe to do in the real world? Exploit that avatar for everything you can, face each and every monster in your closet and move into adult life as you were intended.
