He would clear the pitch of snow, pay for the fans fish and chips, buy players for £5k and sell them for £100K+
But the main reason was the entertaining football that saw us in the top two of conference 5 times in 6 seasons.
I don't go to many Barnet games anymore, we are in the football league now and just another struggling small club. But the eighties were our glory years and Fry put his heart (4 heart attacks) and soul into it. I know he is seen as joke in Peterborough and beyond but to me he is a true football hero.

I know some Birmingham fan that loved him as well.
But can you imagine him at a big club?
