I think doing away with the score card is an even better idea than limiting a user's quantity of reccs. it seems to me that it eliminates most of the wrong reasons to give some one a wreck. (Look at the free reccs thread and tell me that users didn't have an inordinate love for the things!)
Under the new regime users are much more likely to wreck a post that contains interesting information like some of the Doctor's avatars and your pictures of "burning rook"
Let's give it some time. IMHO, we're going to love the new system.
