Who are those whingeing that non-subs should not have tournaments?

I don't hear any moaning about it - can only be good thing.
Perhpas a % will join.

But only a few non-subs check forums.

Why not knock up a message - copy it and send it out to
as many non-subs as you can find - Russ may cancel it if he
thinks there is a lack of interest.

Um, PM spamming fecks up the servers. I don't think Russ would appreciate it.

I was looking for non-subs to p.m. in the General Forum but I found non. The place is crawling with subs.

I'm already in I can't wait for it to start. I can hardly spot a non-sub who has not entered in the General Forum. In the Only Chess forum there are people who have been here for years and are still provisional but cannot be bothered to play. What a shame....

In my opinion non subscibers should have no tournaments. I pay every year so why should they get off scott free?

So do I to certain degree - I think this idea is to tempt the non subs in.

It's not a lot of money but, there again we do not know the circumstances
of other non-subs.

Let's see what happens. If 10% of the players subscribe then it's been a success.

I disagree; they should be allowed to try before they buy. There's no harm in that and it makes absolutely no difference to subscribers.
