I'm going to have to look up Quorn in my Enclyclopedia Brittanica as I'm not familiar with it.
Quorn is manufactured in the UK as a meat substitute it is sold as a vegi option in cafes and sell to over 20 countries inc the USA and Canada they tried to market it at a mushroom based product but is infact a bacteria mmmm yummy.

I once had a deer walk out and stand right in the middle of a narrow gravel road in front of my 1961 VW. I hit the brakes and horn and controlled my slide, all the time this deer just stood there. I hit the deer going about 5mph and it crumpled my fender, flattening my front tire. The deer went down and I got out figuring that venison steaks would be good compensation. As I exited my car the deer jumped up and ran off.

And another time I was driving with my brother in his 1965 VW and we were broadsided (yes broadsided) by a deer. It was late at night and I turned to talk to my brother and saw it coming right at the passenger window. Fortunately it hit at the door post and barely scratched the window. My brother saw nothing but asked what hit the car. I told him and he looked at me like I was crazy. When we stopped, my brother found that his door would not open and saw the doorpost was quite crumpled. Good thing he was a VW mechanic.
