no trick or treating for my sons 13 yr old friend?
    Also he's not allowed visitors?

What has this world come to? My mum regularly assures me that it's not like when I was a kid and could go riding off all day long without a helmet, etc.
She says its more dangerous now days!! Really? Anyone buying this? I know they're buying xbox's 😢
Cant kids make mistakes and learn anymore unless its on the net?? How are they supposed to gain life experience?
And now my posts are regularly "vile" as attested to by to rhp members.
Is this the world you guys want to pass onto your children?
I've had enough-the kid can make his own lunch!!

Only one person has said some of your posts are vile, and I’m not sure why you slotted this comment into your post.

    2 actually. "Frequently vile"

I tagged this in there because if my posts can be construed as frequently vile then gaining life experience while on the net may also been seen as plausible 🤔

The only thing trick or treating teaches kids is how to be beggars.

I banned my kids from taking eggs out on Halloween after I had
one thrown at my car window on my way to work one night.
I prefer Halloweeen to Guy Fawkes which I detest. I pity the
wildlife being traumatised by all of that noise.

The kids will be the ones running things down the road. Have you considered that?

xmas day is just weird now.
It used to be the one day you would have nearly every kid in the n'hood outside and trying their new bikes ,etc.

I guess the only thing worse than noisy brats is totally silent and zombified brats

Not if they cant tie their shoe laces.

My friend reckons handwriting will be virtually dead in 50 years and only a few specialists will still write by hand.
    It's not that far-fetched.

Like anything else I guess they need balance between their games and other aspects of their life.

I'll bet when my son starts hanging around town he'll be seen as a weirdo for doing so ...

When a skill is no longer needed why teach it?
