So you are one of those busy people who make shopping an even worse nightmare than it already is anyway?

Originally posted by rhbNot bloody likely, the only time I get to g oshopping is hwen it is at it's busiest times, so too many people in the same building is not good for calmness during shopping.

Originally posted by rhbI can understand that but some people are just so frickin ignorant. Okay I can understand someone accidentally walking right in your path but some people know they're in your way and just stand there, sometimes bent over, loooking down at something with arm stretched behind, on their trolley blocking the entire aisle up. This kind of person wants a trolley shove where the sun don't shine in my opinion.

Another example. I went in my local asian shop yesterday to do the lottery. There was this idiot filing out his ticket on the lottery table provided. He was stretched out right over all of it and filled in numerous lines. There was another pen available (underneath him) foe me to use and did he move? Nope! He carried on regardless even though he knew full well that I was here. And as for karma? I bet that this is the kind of D*** that would win the lottery. Fortune fabvours idiots dude. It's a well known fact. Those of us that show a bit of consideration get dumped on from a great height.
Sorry, I think you touched a raw nerve then. Or was it a bone of contention? Maybe I've just not got thick skin? π
Originally posted by jimslyp69Did you ask that guy if you could have that pen? In the shop, saying "excuse me" or something like that will usually make people let you pass (although I am often too stressed to use speech in these situations). In a full shop, most people will be quite stressed, trying hard to navigate through the shop, find what they want, remember everything they need, and maybe look after their children or communicate with a partner or friend. I think most of them don't block the way because they want to annoy you, but because they just don't manage to think of everything.

Originally posted by NordlysYeah I could have said 'excuse me'. But why make life harder than necessary. Why force someone to say these words when not necessary? He knew I was stood there to do the lottery. Either that or he thought I just liked standing right in front of him staring down at him. It's ignorance in my opinion and it really annoys me.
