Dear RHPers,
I have some students who are doing online psychology studies for their final-year projects.
If some of you could take part in these studies, completely anonymously of course, I'd be most grateful. You may even find the studies interesting!
I'll post the general results I get for both studies at a later date.
You can find the two studies at:
http://www.psychology.soton.ac.uk/psychosurvey/
There are more studies listed than my students are doing. The ones my students are doing are these:
(a)
Musical Preferences
DETAILS: 10 to 15 minutes. Straightforward, require listening to some musical scales and chords.
(b)
Dream Diary: Instructions
Dream Diary: Part 1
Dream Diary: Part 2
Dream Diary: Request Debriefing and Summary of Results
DETAILS: More bits. Requires you to remember, type in, and answer questions about, some of your dreams. Somewhat longer, depending on the length of your dream or dreams!
Note that, unfortunately, the survey software I have been using works best with Internet Explorer. For example, you may not hear the sounds in the music preferences study in Firefox (although I have just been informed this bug has been fixed).
Let me know if you encounter any problems.
Thanks a lot!
