not just blitz features, because playing blitz is fun, but there's not much else you can do.

Everything the USCF ever did was mediocre at best. If I had not become a life member years ago, I wouldn’t bother with them today. Try a bunch of different sites until you find one you like then subscribe. One place I would avoid: IECG. You won’t do very well unless you have the latest engine software.
