@torunn saidYes, I know! I am going to talk about it to my family doctor. I believe it should work out to 105 days if my math is correct. This seems to be a bit over.
@Very-Rusty
That's many weeks in between.

@divegeester saidThat is how they worked it out is all I can tell you. If you don't count to day I get 102 days if I did my math correctly. Counting today would be 103 again if my math is correct.
What are your metrics?

@very-rusty saidI was told 4-6 weeks for Pfizer and I think I have made three.

A large observational, real-world study from Israel estimates that the Pfizer/BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine is 46% effective at preventing infection 14 to 20 days after the first dose and 92% 7 days after the second dose, backing the results of an earlier randomized, controlled trial, according to a study today in the New England Journal of Medicine (NEJM).
We figure better having some protection than none. Our bubble consists of just the two of us.

@very-rusty saidIf 100 dollar bills start shooting out your ears, inform me immediately!
We got our first shots today. (Pfizer) next one due on August 18,2021.
So far so good.

@moonbus saidLOL.....I'd have to go to the bank for those.

The way prices are going here anyway. Has anyone else noticed the big jump in food prices?

@ghost-of-a-duke saidThanks goad,
Good to hear.
Robert Strang is a Canadian physician and the chief medical officer for the province of Nova Scotia. This is the same one he got about a week ago and I am told all the front line workers will be getting this one. I had requested that one a few weeks ago as it looked to be the best one. It seems like a long time between shots but they are the experts. I figure better to have something than nothing which is what we had up until today. Still have to wear a mask of course and keep distance. We have a lockdown here in Halifax right now anyways for at least 3 weeks they are saying.

@very-rusty saidCheck with your doctor. If the Pfizer vaccine was administered, the second shot should be given in three weeks (May 26) and no later than six weeks.

@handyandy saidYes Andy, that is what I understood also, as I said in an earlier post in this thread am going to check with my Doctor on that one in 2 weeks we have an appointment. At least we have the one in us for now and I know it takes 14 to 20 days to have some immunity, but certainly not immune for sure. We had two people who went out and partied right after getting their vaccine about 6 days ago and both are now in Hospital. I don't know why people do these things. I am lost to try and understand it anymore. I think using 'Stupidity' would be appropriate for doing that.
