i was listening to this at work between saturday and tuesday. the first day i though, "great! it's playing some wonderful music!". they played dire straights, the eagles etc. as well as modern stuff, and most of it i liked and would listen to at home. day two i was thinking that it sounded a bit familiar, but there are a few different tracks in there. but by day 3 and 4 they were just playing the same tracks over and over and over! romeo and juliet must have been on at least once every day, and as for the killers...😞

is every radio station like this, or is it just virgin?

I remember as an apprentice I had Heart 106 inflicted on me every day for 3 years- it very nearly broke me and I still have psychological scarring. Virgin is better music, but almost as repetitive.

Radio 2 and Xfm are the best I've found for variety and generally the kind of music I like.

I switch between Virgin and Kerrang radio on 105.2 fm. I'm not sure if Kerrang is only available in the midlands, but it plays some great music. The adverts get a bit annoying though. Radio 1 is the worst for repeating songs. If you listen to that at work its like you can hear the same songs 7 or 8 times a day!

well it's better than having a CD on repeat-i remember listening to ocean colour scene for a whole 6 hours once (after 6 hours i made them put on something else). i still can't listen to it.

the adverts are annoying too, your right. there is one at the moment-get pricerunner.co.uk on your mobile! "are you fed up paying over the odds for the things you desire?...you'll never be a retail victim ah-gain!"

but don't worry-i don't want to kill myself. i just want to kill the advertisers.
