I was 17 years old, Roland Kirk was playing in a small Los Angeles jazz club for two weeks. He did this set every night and I caught his act 3 times, front row center , three feet from Mr. Kirk. I was on acid each time.
You may now envy me and ask questions about what it was like.
Those days are done, I'm afraid, everybody's looking at 50 cents and all that other nonsense.
