I hear Voices, Bobby Kimmel and his band, played a LOT at McCabes Guitar shop where my band Southwind also played a dozen times.

I hear Voices is an acoustic folk group, originally with Linda Ronstadt.

I'm glad you recognise genius! I know it from the Biograph album where it's described as "unrealeased - 7/75". This is the more faithful version but there seems to be an interesting live version on youtube, too.
