Thanks. What he says about the Scandinavian languages is basically true: Danish is incomprehensible because of pronunciation, Finnish because of its grammar and vocabulary. Iceland is an island and its language doesn't change much. Norwegian and Swedish are pretty similar. I understand Norwegians talking, but hardly ever Danes.

By Swedes sometimes. They are also envied here because of their casual style, Swedes tend to be more rigid, Danes seem more content.
