That sounds a difficult piece of music. How long have you been playing piano?

I learnt it off my brother as a kid who used to go to piano lessons. I don't know that many songs on the piano but that is one. People always wow when you play it. Just a lot of hard memory work i guess.
I played a trumpet in a brass band.

You’re a natural then 🙂 We have an electronic piano here plus 3 guitars; a Fender, Flying V and acoustic, amplifiers and a mic. I used to be able to play all of the grade 1 & 2 piano pieces that my son was learning. Supervising him with his early practice helped me to pick up on what he was doing. It was the same with his guitar playing though he advanced very quickly with this to grade 4. I sadly stopped learning when other things got in the way. I keep telling myself I’ll get back to some practice again but I’m always busy with gardening and the dog. The same thing happens with artwork which used to be as natural as breathing to me. I keep saying that once my grown up kids are completely independent of me and I have our home to myself I’ll get back to doing these things. There just aren’t enough hours in the day and of course I’m growing older with less energy.
