Stranger Things is pretty good on Netflix
The late John Vulich recommended that show on another forum, but something in me still wants to avoid seeing that show.

I watched VH1 Bands Reunited on YouTube, the band was Romeo Void one of my favorites. Debora and the boys did a one time concert, they sounded great. The band seemed to have several drummers. Unfortunately saxophonist Benjamin Bossi was unable to perform due to health issues. He passed away in 2021 I think. The video was probably 10 years old.

Our times could use more Wolfman Jack and Dave Kirschner's Midnight Special.

Or the old MTV
Never Say Never was an iconic early video (82) with obscure band that nobody heard of until MTV aired it.
Debora looks a lot like an ex, so my wife hated it lol
I was wrong, Bossi passed away just last month.

@Gambrel

More "Soul Train" would be good, too.

Do you or anyone else know if there is a way on Netflix to make it so foreign movies that I have to read don’t show up? Drives me nuts! With so many it takes forever to find a movie I can actually watch and not have to read.
Maybe another idea would be to put "dubbed" in your search string.

I do get that subtitles can be a distraction, and I often have to rewind to appreciate the scene after I know what they're saying.

[Edit: I prefer to hear the actors' original delivery in whatever language, even if it's a language I don't know or only slightly know.]

Fauda S04E01. Typically excellent so far. It's said to be the final series. Had a bit of trouble finding a suitable version on torrents. I wanted neither the Hebrew nor the Arabic dialogue dubbed; I didn't want only the Arabic subtitled; I didn't want the Arabic dubbed with Hebrew. I've ended up with Hebrew dialogue with proper subtitles in English in plain text, and Arabic dialogue with italicized English subtitles. Once these technical thirsts were slaked, I enjoyed episode 1 and all bodes well for this mostly pro-Israeli and pro-Mossad thriller.

I found "Smile" to be disappointing.

Star Trek Picard series 3 has started with three brilliant episodes.

I think it's the last series of Picard and, indeed, the last Start Trek franchise TV series.

I have embarked on S02 of Hunters, the somewhat comic-bookish AND brutal Nazi-hunting TV series set in the 1970s with AL Pacino. Good so far.

Series 4 of Succession has begun airing.

Two episodes so far. Brillianat, as ever.

Second and last series done. Ended well. Nice little 20-episode piece of TV drama/art.

Six episodes into Last Of Us series one. Better than I expected. A cut above your regular zombie movies/TV series. Good central pair, well-played: a grisly man and a spunky 12-year-old girl. Nice story arc for each of their characters.

The Bear, series 1 is about a celebrated chef slumming it in a financially-challenged gourmet sandwich cafe with a high-powered workplace populated by a motley but charming lot ...all in the wake of the chef's sibling's suicide. Quite stressful to watch, in a way, but it has chards of grim humour. Maybe one of the best things I have seen for a while, and that's coming from someone who only watches good stuff and doesn't bother with TV series that are middle of the road or merely competently done.
