Does chess teach you valueble lessons you can use in life? For me, it teaches one how to think logically and rationally, and with this methods, you can apply it in real life situations on processes which rewards you for doing so. It also teaches me that when one is encountered with a situation, try to look at the problem from all angles and formulate a plan ...[text shortened]... going head on without a plan.
What does chess teach you about life? Does it mimic your life?
- sharpens your intellect
- helps keeping your brain active
- improves your ability to think logically in an abstract sense
- is FUN

chess teaches us how to approach and WIN many situations in life, but how can one win life? is this possible??
in chess we see all the pieces, the board and most of the game. in life we see very little. it pays to have the intelect for some to understand this when going on their missions. i.e. humble people don't take so much for granted.
after a game ...[text shortened]... nt to ever achieve much good for the big picture. most chess players are just a waste of time!
