I have been teaching piano and organ for the greater part of my life. I prefer classical for the piano. On the pipe organ I prefer Bach. (which is Baroque). But since I have played for church since I was 11 years old, I mostly play gospel hymns. I actually wanted to be an artist! I majored in art from Jr. High through college. Figure drawing and portrait painting was my forte.

Last quarterly visit early July, Nicole asked if I would loan her a few of mine for the suite of offices. Hesitated. She insisted. Took three over the next day; hope they're still there next visit. lol

Took weekly Trumpet Lessons from an elderly Swedish Musician/Retired
Professor, Mr. Womberg, for the four years before high school.

You mentioned a daughter going to Berklee. One of my 1st wives uncles was/is Joe Hunt.

Berklee is a great school no doubt.
For me, being heavily into folk music and traditional Irish and American and UK tunes, my favorite place is Appalachian State University in Boone NC. My wife and I did a gig there a couple times and I fell in love with the place. I was sorry I was just an itinerant folkie doing a couple of pro gigs, I would have much rather been a student there.
We met Jean Ritchie, Doc Watson, Gaither Carlton and a bunch more there.
That was awesome.
