This land is your land, Woody Guthrie has to come close. In fact it was already listed as the # 1 song in a rolling stone magazine article of the top 100, #2 being Over the Rainbow.

Another great song is 'The potters wheel' by Bill Danoff, the best version sung by Freyda Epstein. There was a very inferior version sung by John Denver but after hearing Freyda Epstein's version, there was no comparison. She was a genius and is sorely missed, as is John Denver.

Have you heard Steve Vai's version of "Somewhere over the Rainbow". If not you should. It will blow you away. But I would have to say of all time. "Stairway to Heaven" By Led Zeppelin. "Free Bird" By Lynard Skynard.

"Song of Songs" by Solomon.

Written about 3500 years ago, it's still the most erotic, romantic, emotional bunch of words set to music.

Right now I'm really feeling Helen Shapiro's "Daddy Couldn't Get Me One Of Those," recorded back around 1963.

The band of the hard working man why shouldn't I know it 😵 Love the Skynyrd by all means 🙂

No, I teach at the local university. The studying part I'm doing it because it's free as professor, lol [but don't tell that to my fellow lecturers, their ego may explode against me 😕 ]
