but some dozen candidates (well they are all pretty good - but the greatest ??? that's difficult.)
Eurythmics - Love is the Drug
Brian Ferry ('s version of) - Smoke gets in your Eyes
Buddy Guy - Mannish Boy
Stones - Ruby Tuesda ...[text shortened]... Comin' in from the cold are amazing too. ...but then the song starts and it goes downhill.

Has anyone mentioned: "One night in Bangkok" yet?
One of the best intros ever, it's about chess and the lyrics are classic!

I started to travel and teach before MP3 players became widely available, so I've lived without 99.9999% of my music collection for almost 3 years now, and although it seemed unthinkable at the time, I've managed to live without it all. It must be over a year since I played Jethro Tull, maybe you think that's good but if you knew me you'd know it was quite an achievement.
So all in all music has ceased to be that important to me.
If I had to name ten songs then in all honesty 9 of them would be Tull songs, but for what it's worth, limiting each artist to one song...
Moths - Jethro Tull
Mozart's Requiem
The Wizard - Black Sabbath
Oi Oi (Remix) - Glu'koza
Angels - Robbie Williams
Rosebud in June - Steeleye Span
Overture to The Marriage of Figaro
Many a Mile to Freedom - Traffic
Lament - Gryphon
Ducks on a Pond - Incredible Stringband
No particular order applies, although the first is No 1 in every way.
Mozart gets two entries because of his unequalled genius.

Power of love- Celine Dion
then again, you're entitled to your opinion
