@Suzianne saidI still subscribe to his channel hoping for new songs.
I did like his kitchen guitar playing.
I also loved that his kitchen was a classic example of New England kitchen architecture (he lived in Rhode Island, as I recall).
Here’s one of his best; dedicated several years ago to our own Very Rusty
@Torunn saidThere were photos, including the names, of all those pictured but I can’t find them on here. There was a meetup thread but I’m not sure if this RI photos were on it or just on a “site” set up by someone. There was a couple from Philly, a few from Phlabs area, another husband and wife, Handy Andy’s wife and a few others. I had those picks on my old laptop but it was hacked years ago and I wasn’t able to get access and certainly wasn’t going to give the perps the satisfaction of paying their ridiculous “price” to not only get it up and running but maybe the likelihood that it’d just be the “downpayment”. 😡
Most of them left this site perhaps? Do you recall some of the names? HandyAndy, Sunburnt maybe?
@diver saidHe was a funny fart for sure!!! 😉

I still believe he is lurking in the shadows here.

@Suzianne saidHis YouTube channel is called “Barbutt”.
Pretty good you guys, your Search-Fu is better than mine. I went looking and couldn't find any.
I do remember he used to post in .MOV format. He preferred the Apple QuickTime format.
But you can easily find it via one of the links above > watch on YouTube > go to channel > subscribe.

It was a portal for member photos with their RHP username. I suppose as personal privacy became more prevalent that Russ decided to take it down.
Couple of very old threads about it here 👇

Yes there was also a link to “meet ups” which had several from London, two in Dublin and the Rhode Island one.
The good old days before the internet became a s-show of scams and doxing.
@diver saidYa it was…well some of the participants seemed “well oiled”. Oh for those days when things ever soooo much less…complicated and more, “here I am, warts and all”.
The Dublin ones were hilarious as many were extremely intoxicated, asleep on benches and pouring beer over each other 😂
@diver saidWhy can’t we revert to those days? I mean, come on. Life is too short to be so..

@Great-Big-Stees saidWe can never go back to anything, all our experiences are like clouds passing in the sky and our memories subjective recollections. This is what I have learned. 🙂
