And remember - to evoke the wisdom of Delia Smith - remove pan from heat *before* they are cooked to however you like them, for they will carry on cooking in those extra few seconds in the pan after coming off the heat and before going on your hotly buttered pieces of granary toast. So what's your Favourite Dish guys ?
Starter: Queen scallops, each wrapped in a slice of bacon, skewered anc slowly cooked over a mesquite charcoal barbcue.
Entree: Large New York steak smother in rub (see below), barbcued and served with a barbcued mixture of onions, zuccini (courgettes for those not in the US) and mushrooms.
Rub: Mince 1/3 cup Malden Sea Salt, 1/3 cup ground black peppercorns, 1/3 cup fresh rosemary, 8-10 garlic gloves. Mix in food processor.
Serve with several bottles chilled, very good chardonnay over dusk, outside with candles. Preferably with friends.
Hmmm.
(Oh, and as far as eggs go, smoked salmon and mushroom omelette!)
