When nothing makes sense it means that prior ways of making sense don't work anymore (usually either because reality has changed or because people's perceptions of reality have changed -- like when Magellan proved the Earth was a ball and not a pancake). It means we are on the cusp of a paradigm shift.

What to do? Be prepared to accept that everything you thought you knew yesterday might be wrong. Be open for creative solutions. Be flexible. The tree that bends in a hurricane survives; the rigid tree gets blown over.
