The booted players accounts were later permanently deleted by Russ. I knew of only one other mod there, and we suspect there may have been more.
The forum was closed first, then chat. Eventually the site was shut down.

The mIRC I was an operator on was talk only no chess was played. Just people getting together and having a gab session. We could not only boot people if required and we gave at least 3 warning first, also could ban for a period of time which the operators who were on would have to be in agreement to the time the person would be banned for.
