Why is it that when one puts up an open invite game titled Pawn stars only The response from non Pawn stars is incredable. Maybe it`s me, same thing as the Clan Leader Clash tourney. It`s like READ THE DAMN TITLE 😠 Does anybody else get this problem?

Why don't you want to play non-Pawn Stars?

I just wanted a change, most of the time when one puts up an open invite, all one gets is non pawn stars responding. Also i dont like freeloaders. 😀

So, you never test drove RHP before you bought the star? 😉

I think we all took the site for a test drive, but I feel Paulie's pain here. He test drove it, liked it, and bought in. Now he only wants to play the payers. NOthing wrong with that.

Plus, if they want to test drive it, then they can test it amongst themselves. Hell, its only $15 anyway. Thats a pretty affordable test drive if you ask me.

Consider

a) Not everyone speaks English as well as you.
b) Not everyone necessarily knows what a "pawn star" is, English speaker or otherwise.
c) The acceptees are annoying and doing it on purpose.

Most likely there are some falling into category c), but perhaps not all.

Fair point, but it seems strange that so far all the little flags are Stars and Stripes.😕

I understand where you are coming from. I myself have said that the site should be strictly by subscription after a trial run. But, I also understand where Russ/Chris are coming from and have begun to understand that not everyone can pay. While you are right that alot of people from the good ole US of A do not pay, do not assume that all of them can afford them. Not everyone in the US has rich parents or makes $50,000 a year. Then, there are some of my foreign friends that do not have stars. Could they pay for one? Maybe. But I am not going to hold that against them, because chances are, they can't.

So, to encourage someone to subscribe, maybe more Pawn Stars need to take Non-Stars under their wing and show them the "intangible" benifits (friendship, learning the game together, new cultures, etc...) that a subscription would bring.

Ok, off my soapbox (for now...)

I feel what you're saying P, don't get me wrong...I'm just suggesting reasons why...mebbe to try and calm your fury.

Less than 5% of my last coupla hundred games at a guess are against non-pawnstars, and even then most of those are against mates of mine who I play chess with "in da real world". I share your distaste of playing non-pawnstars, however poorly that may reflect.

$ 15 to become a RHP member may not be much in the eyes of an American or a European, but for a lot of people in the world $ 15 is a considerable amount of money ...
