I just got in from clearing my driving of about one foot of snow we got last night. While I was out running the snowblower, wind-driven snow blasting me in the face, and freezing my butt off, it occurred to me that I was going to an awful lot of trouble to relocate water a very small distance.

Yet if it was warmer, and I *wanted* a pile of water in my yard (say I wanted a pond), I would again have to go to an awful lot of trouble to get the water to stay in one place.

Why does water have to be so troublesome? So much energy in society goes toward sometimes making water stay in one play, and other times making it move to a different place.

Water is not troublesome, I think it just doesn't like you....think back, have you ever offended it in some way?

Perhaps it resents that I always flush it down the toilet.

Water was here first. It regards humans as pesky interlopers.

It's because you abused it for so many years. Remember all those times you just had to jump in puddles? Do you think that was enjoyable for the water???

Hey reader, what are you doing in my kitchen? Would you mind to do the dishes?

Well there you have it then...'tis clearly bearing a grudge against you. I suggest you talk it over with water and offer it an apology.

I don't know what reader is doing in the kitchen, but I'm almost finished with the bathroom repairs.

I'm waiting for supper. I'll have you know that I had to *gasp* make my own grilled cheese sandwiches! Alas, some things just can't be microwaved.

I hope you hurry, because I need to use it as soon as you're finished...😲

Especially in a kitchen without a microwave.

I did notice something was missing. When I asked your husband how I was supposed to nuke a cup of tea, all I got was this long C-sharp.
