At least the firewall is better than Windows normal crap one.

i know this isn't necessarilly the thread, but i heard "firewall" and decided to ask a question...

I currently i run zonealarm beside F-secure, as i get F-secure through uni for free and zonealarm is, well, free...however, zonealarm doesn't let me update it as it says that it has compatibility problems with F-secure. so, my question is, are there any other (decent-better than XPs) free firewalls out there? alternatively, are there any other ways of getting round the problem without scrapping either one of them?

If your F-Secure is the suite with a firewall included then the Zone Alarm firewall is superfluous and in fact would likely cause conflicts.
Therefore you should disable or uninstall it really. πŸ˜•

Well without a good look I dunno, but you could try one of these two instead - both free and both highly rated.
