Football. It boils more enthusiasm than the rising of a new pope, more exciting than a weekend with Paris Hilton... and Germany 06 it's months away! Life gets prettier every 4 years.

😀

What do you think about the friendly matches held today. That 4-1 to Germany is way sad 😞

Yeah, absolutely, looking stron. I trully hope we don't play against the US again in Germany '06... I remember Korea-Japan World Cup and still shed a tear :'(

It did, in my humble opinion. France is the one that disappointed me big time 😕

What was really shameful was that Russia-Brazil match... no football at all! 😠

Got any tickets? It's damn expensive though 😵

I will go there anyway. It wouldn't be the same to check matches out at the couch that in a bar 50 meters away from the stadium.

I trully hope we make it to the semifinals... at least I gambled USD$100 on it already 🙄

I applied for tickets, they sell them in phases and you apply for three matches with no guarantee of getting any. I didn't get any. they were reasonably priced it seemed, catergory 4 which were the cheapest six tickets came out at 220euros.
I agree with you, to be in a bar just round the corner is the next best thing

Oh, so it's like that everywhere, I see. Last year my mate also crossed credit card for tickets but got only dust 😠

Now I'll settle for bar around the corner, which is not bad at all. Anyway, before and after the game the party happens on the streets.

Happily, one of my best mates and my ex both live in Dusseldorf so I won't get a headache from the insane adventure of hostels.

The US are a good outside bet for Germany.
Like Greece in Euro 2004 they might not have the most flair but they are well organised and should do well.

Good point. Does anyone know where can reliable stakes be checked out in the internet?

Btw, did anyone hear the news about the only person that placed a bet on Greece since the beginning of the tournament?

That guy/girl surely made loads of cash!

Why do you think that Russia-Brazil was shameful? I didn't see it but according to press reports it wasn't a bad game with Russia having more chances to win. Ronaldo's goal was scored by his arm. It was pretty cold in Moscow, though.
