France will beat sweden in the semis 2-0 and England will beat brazil from a golden goal 2-1. Brazil will smash sweden 4-0 in the 3rd place playoff and France will beat England 3-2 in the final. Australia will make the round of 16 and will lose to Czech Republic 2-0. Argue this if u wish but watch. The Match to watch is Austraila v Brazil. My Prediction is 3-1 Brazil's way. Here are my predictions for the groups
Group A: Germany, Poland, Costa Rica, Ecuador
Group B: England, Sweden, Paraguay, Trinidad & Tobago
Group C: Netherlands, Cote D'ivoire, Argentina, Serbia Montenagro
Group D: Porugal, Mexico, Iran, Angola
Group E(the hardest): Czech Republic, Italy, USA, Ghana
Group F: Brazil, AUSTRALIA, Croatia, Japan
Group G: France, South Korea, Switzerland, Togo
Group H: Spain, Ukraine, Tunisia, Saudi Arabia

With the strength of Spanish football this season, I'm placing an outside bet on Spain to make the latter stages and perhaps even win it. True, many of their players in the top teams are not Spanish, but the experience of playing in the same teams as many South Americans will surely rub-off on the Spanish nationals. In addition, if Spain play, for example, Brazil, you would expect the Spanish defence to be well aware of the Brazilian forwards as most play their football in Spain. There are also some excellent Spaniards playing in the English Premiership.
My other choice is the Netherlands. Always had a soft spot for the Dutch, especially as I lived there for a year as a student a few years ago. And this is despite the fact they thrashed Scotland 6-0 a couple of years ago.

Top four teams out there;
France - No-one is really talking about France as a threat but when you look at their squad they are very strong.
Italy - People are saying that the Italian team is the best for over 20 years so you cannot discount them. They are always strong in competitions and not bottlers like the Spanish and Dutch.
England - I'm English and forever optimistic, if Rooney is fit we have a serious chance and our Midfield is probably the best in the World.
Brazil - Always class, if we don't win then I hope they do.

I predict that 1966 will be brought up in excess of 100 times, just to show how rubbish the current English team is, in that they will be unable to emulate the performance of 40 year ago.
