I think Germany will make the last 8 at least and it will not be an all South American Final.
Originally posted by RagnorakYou r so going by reputation. Everyone's doubting Germany's, Holland's, Croatia's, Australia's and England's power. It's actually rare to find a dud team competeing in the WC. I do still do say Brazil will not get to the Final

Originally posted by welsharnieWe qualified easily for the world cup: 2 draws and no losses. In fact, Holland was the team with the most points in the qualification groups, and we also beat the Czechs twice. And they have quite a good team, better than Holland if you ask me.
I still don't get why everyone fancies Holland to do well, i still think that SM are better than them, and yes it is SM, and they don't split until after this WC.
I haven't read most of this thread, and don't know much about football, but which teams do you think would not be at the World Cup if the qualification stage was not split into regions?
I mean, the region comprising Aus, Japan, USA isn't perhaps as strong as the European and South American regions (at a guess).
My point is, with the current system, some of the teams present might not be among the best in the world.

In addition, to Cruiser accusing Ragnorak going by reputation, I would say I don't think thats correct at all, I mean on reputation Germany would be 1st, and Mexico would never top their group, nevermind reach the semi finals!
