What smacks of intellectual dishonesty and emotional

disorientation is your apparent disinclination to allow any

contrary opinions equal right... if they collide with your own.
You are free to have whatever opinion you want. If that opinion is that you accept no responsibility whatsoever for your actions, then expect to be called on it.

Why do you think that poisoning your grandchildren will not kill them?

Why don't you practice what you preach and pour cyanide into the water of your town's supply. Hey, if everybody dies, you had nothing to do with it, it was the will of god.

One word: insane!

If it kills them, all the better - they will be delighted to get to heaven sooner.

Baby Jesus, Baby Jesus (cup and rock your arms)
We love you, We love you (hug yourself)
We’re going to heaven, going to heaven (point upwards)
Thank you, Thank you (prayerful hands)

What do you mean you have nothing to lose? You promote the wanton destruction of the earth on the premise that some practitioner of voodoo is going to clean up your mess for you, like a parent cleans up after a destructive toddler.

Surely, if that magician is fake, and you have destroyed the earth and poisoned your offspring, then you have everything to lose.

Are you a rapture index believer? http://www.raptureready.com/rap2.html
or are you this guy? "so you think if no one believed in any religion there would be no wars or fighting? i think it would be worse. i know if i didn't fear god's judgement i would have killed many many times."

I'm not sure that it is fair to blame the problems of the earth on christianity.

There is a pervasive belief on these forums that man would have acted differently without christianity.

Who's blaming chrisitanity? I know plenty of christians who aren't insane. I was responding directly to grampy's post on page 1...
"Ivan, the Creator of the universe is quite capable of sustaining

all of the spheres in accordance with His design and purpose.

It is the very epitomy of unbridled arrogance to even imagine

that His omniscience did not anticipate the invetiable pollution

of human occupation of the earth, make intricate (van allen belt

and other) provision for perpetuity and the continuation of human

life on earth... and it is assininity personified to fatuously assume

that our feeble help is required to provide any assistance at all,

other than to take out the trash. We need Him. He doesn't need us.

Edit:

Rest easy and sleep well, my friend. Only genuine concern you and I

really have is the permanent destination/address of our eternal souls."

where he explicitly states that one should have no regard for anything apart from ensuring everlasting life in heaven. Not, in my opinion representative of christianity.

The great problem with religions, is that they all claim to have a monopoly on the truth.

Bobby is entitled to his opinion.

Followers of Atheo are entitled to theirs.

Foillowers of Mohammed are also entitled to believe what they believe.

It is the height of arrogance to say, "my beliefs are correct and yours are not."

Especially considering that most monotheistic religions worship the same god.

In each religion though especially islam it is said in one way or another not to believe the other religions...so by following their religion they have to say, "my beliefs are correct and yours are not."

Actually it isn't really a joke...I am tired of the arrogant drivel that you post in the forums.

Rag, while I respect the applied intelligence quotient reflected in your

rating, seems that once again you've lapsed into simplistically taking

words out of context. The words belong to Blaise Pascal. Lifting one

sentence from his 17th Century "Wager" to angrily pose your own hot

environmental concern driven question does attest to your fervent

belief in Al Gore's self serving agenda... but is at a total tangent to the

existence of an Eternal God and permanence of soul life conversation.

I don't think this is about beliefs at all. I think it's about whether you accept responsibility for your behaviour or whether you make excuses. It doesn't really matter whether these excuses are based in Christianity, atheism, politics or whatever.
