I don't think this is about beliefs at all. I think it's about whether you accept responsibility for your behaviour or whether you make excuses. It doesn't really matter whether these excuses are based in Christianity, atheism, politics or whatever.
I agree people should take responsibility for their attacks on other's religious beliefs.

You sign all your posts with "Troll", and I'll happily sign off mine with "insane".

He shouldn't be signing posts because he shouldn't be posting at all.

Rag, while I respect the applied intelligence quotient reflected in your

rating, seems that once again you've lapsed into simplistically taking

words out of context. The words belong to Blaise Pascal. Lifting one

sentence from his 17th Century "Wager" to angrily pose your own hot

environmental concern driven question does attest to your fe ...[text shortened]... otal tangent to the

existence of an Eternal God and permanence of soul life conversation.
What words belong to Pascal? Are you passing off other's words as your own without quote.

He's free to post so long as he remembers to stay within the rules of the site. He has served his bans for the numerous times he overstepped the lines of decency, so he has done his time. If you see him posting racist/hateful/harrassing posts again, just alert them, and they will be removed again and he may get another ban.

That's the way the community works.

I got one ban well over a year ago. And I have never posted anything racist.

Why am I not surprised that you are a fan of the branch of fundamental Islam responsible for 911?

Troll
Is this where I employ your schoolboy tactics of saying "I know you are, what am I?".

See, tomtom, the best thing to do is just ignore a troll like Red Night. He has openly admitted that he gets off on trolling and upsetting people on here. Just don't get involved with a slanging match with him, which is what he wants.

Perhaps because I have shown tolerance for other's beliefs?

No, there is a loop hole, he doesn't have to sign his posts with "insane" since you can't possibly sign ALL your posts with "Troll"

Don't worry amout it. Most of the world is water which can easily be split into hydrogen and oxygen with a electical current. We can beath the oxygen and use the hydrogen as fueld to generate electricity. Presto, veritable unlimited power and plenty of air.
Except using hydrogen as fuel also requires oxygen.

And what if your surmise turns out to be wrong? Pascal's Wager dealt

with this. If there is no God and I believe in Christ, I have nothing to

lose. If He is who and what He says He is, I have everthing to gain.

Beauty of it is that it's a private matter. He's a gentleman and will

never coerce human will.

(Shouldn't this thread be moved to the Spirituality Section).
Pascal's Wager fails because there are infinite possibilities. Thus, with no evidence, the infinite consequence is cancelled out by an infinitely small chance of being true.
