Read the article it talks about a teacher that used to teach at his school that was caught having sex with a student and got 90 days in jail. When was was 17 and got 10 years.

The girl was 15, the guy was 17. He's old enough to know better. Heck, if I at 25 can pass on the super super cute martial arts buddy after he's finding out he's in high school, the guy could have done the same.
I managed to get through high school having had more guys than I can count offering me any time, any way, and still thanks, but no thanks. It's possible.

He is under the age of consent as well.
And if you read the article, all of the charges were dropped aside from the one that gave him ten years.
Furthermore they changed the law, because of his case, but yet did not apply it retroactively, so it then did not apply to him.

So you think it is all fair and good that a kid, who up to now, has never gotten in trouble, has a 3.2 GPA, and has his whole future ahead of him should get 10 years for getting a hummer?
And please remember he is doing federal time, he's not in county lock up. This is a federal penitary(sp?) that he is in.
And will be considered a sex offender, and cannot leave at home anymore because his mother has a young daughter.
So you think that's ok?
