On average over approximately 3000 games in the past three years, my winning percentage is about 6% higher than my winning percentage with Black, and about 8% of my games are draws. So out of every 100 games, my record is about 49 wins, 43 losses, and 8 draws.

Let me clarify my previous post. With White, I win at a .54 percentage and with Black I win with a .46 percentage, counting only games against players within 200 points of my rating. Counting all games against all players, I win more often because many of those players are rated quite a bit lower, but I definitely win more often with White, about 8% more often. Generally, I break even with Black and gain points with White.

When I started playing (with Chessmaster), I played almost exclusively white to make it less confusing. So when I started playing here, I did a lot better with white. Now I feel at least as comfortable with black.
