have read about how to cause friction by rubbing two sticks together with
some inflammable material such as dry grass, but who here would come
up with that idea on their own? I'm pretty sure only a few would think of
it. Throughout history there has been few individuals and far between,
innovative and productive enough to take us one step further in our
technological development, but socially we're still pretty much the same.
There's a reason we need rules of behaviour and laws in order to function
as civilised beings. Having said that, there's no reason to think the
cavemen didn't have social rules governing their behaviour towards
others, or that they really clubbed down their women as foreplay. I'm
pretty sure that the wives back then taunted their men as they do now,
exposing them to an everlasting hell of anguish and torment.
There's also a reason that to understand metaphysics we need to
visualise atoms as little, round particles consisting of even smaller
particles. Molecules as atoms connected with straight lines that doesn't
even exist in reality but are symbolic of the forces binding the atoms
together. The reason is that our intellects haven't developed much
either. We're all still pretty "dumb" and only through years of devoted
education and studying intricate rules of mathematics and iconising
(simplifying through pictures) our discoveries, do we begin to remotely
"understand" about complex things like that.
