Very few people could beat a top computer at CC while not having engine assistance themselves.
Your point is slightly more quantified, and so more accurate, yet the same insinuation is still hinted at. Your opinion here is also a little dangerous, as people who don't really know anything might think that all engine users here use top engines, and so any player to have beaten somebody banned for engine use, is also an engine user. This set seems to include you, according to your post above (re your record against GuaravV).

When I mentioned a "top computer" it was in relation to something like Rybka thinking for 3 days and being used for every move. In these circumstances I don't think many human players could win.
However I guess these are not the circumstances that define a typical engine user. In this case, the engine may only get seconds to think; it may only be used for some moves; etc. Here, such engine assistance is easier to defeat than my first case.
So I'm not suggesting anything about players who beat engine users.
Stephan Buseman, CC GM, had this to say… “I believe that using a chess computer the right way in CC opens up a new and fascinating dimension of this sport. I don't believe it is much fun to have the program play my games. First, the results would be disastrous. Even an ICCF class II player has more strategic understanding than the strongest chess computer available on the market… I am using the computer mainly to double-check moves (to avoid overlooking simple threats) and to detect new lines of thought. The machine suggests them and it's up to me to find out whether they are relevant…CC players should thus be free to use any aid to improve the quality of their games.”
It would seem to me that if someone wants to use an engine then all they need to do is play on a site that allows them. The drawback to that I guess is since they would be playing other users they would not get very high in the ratings.
