Three games completed and all against sub 1800 opponents. Not to insult your opponents, but I'm surprised you would refer to these games as a measure of potential strength. That's like a guy coming to me wanting to box a round-'Have you boxed before', I might ask him. 'Ya, I walloped a 8 year old kid once.' Okay, I guess I better be on my guard then.

...[text shortened]... ken the offer regardless that I said 3/7 and unrated.

Sounds like a lot of hot air from you.
Nicely put.

Why does one need an engine when opponents leave their pieces 'en prise" ?

GM's or IM's, or anyone 2000+ don't usually leave gifts like that.

Oh... you're not actually playing anyone at that level on this site, never mind.

Why is one who claims to be able to challenge the site's top players content to play only players who leave their pieces 'en prise'? 😕

Here is the deal: We have had pretenders and posers before, like 'Weyerstrass' who claimed to be an IM then it was proven he was just another fake, an engine user to get to the top here. I don't know what motivates such a person.

After a few games, there are analysis programs that can tell with a very high percentage of certainty that person X has been using and engine.

Just a word to the wise. If you are genuinely what you say you are, then play the big guys and don't screw around with us duffers. King Tiger asked you for a game, he is one strong player, that is who you need to play to show your skills if you are not using engines. If you are, you will be found out.

So I'm off my soap box🙂

What happened to the game with fat lady.
I was looking forward to that.

She will not leave her pieces en prise I can assure you.

I think he was just trying to legitimatize his 'strength' by showing he knows such chess terms.

Next he'll find a way to use the word "zwischenzug". 😛

Note to self: don't leave pieces en prise, you duffer 🙁
woadman, all this inbound flak is justified I'm afraid. Sounding off on the forums with nothing to back it up except a couple of easy victories against woodpushers like me, is never going to go well.
You face an uphill struggle achieving any credibility here after this fiasco and you need to start playing good players - and quick. But will they want to play you????

I was mistaken about woadman, he's clearly an engine user. Just check out his games from this site:

Anyone who is genuinely a 2300+ correspondence player would have accepted my two challenges rather than cancelling them both and trying to make him play him in one game with me Black by pretending that he was weaker than me. It's obvious both from my rating and by the games I've played that I am nowhere near 2300 level.

Unfortunately correspondence chess at 2000+ level has all been but dead for at least ten years, ever since it was possible to buy a super-GM strength computer program for peanuts (or for free).

RedHotPawn.com survives mainly because the playing level here is so low. It's only a few idiots who bother cheating on here. There really is no kudos in being #1 on a site where 99.9% of the players are completely anonymous, and so the engine users tend to play on different sites.

Why woadman has decided to play here, I don't know. Hopefully he'll lose interest once he realises that it will take a concerted effort to reach the top on RHP, and that once he gets to a certain level he'll be playing other engine users.

This will be my last post on the subject.

Why is my win percentage 63 % if I use a 3000+ rated engine for my moves ? pray tell....wouldnt you think it would be 90% ?

to quote another "King" ..."Can't we all just get along?"

You've been acting like a jerk so I'm guessing no. Take it from me, I've been an a-hole my entire life. There's no forgiveness or understanding really for the likes of us.
