However, I have a question. I know I'm only a 1500 (🙁), but in Game 3295347, why didn't Weyerstrass play 11. Bxc6 and win a pawn? Just curious.

I'm not that dense...

Varenka explained it. I just now realized after 11. Bxc6+ bxc6 12. Qxc6+ (threatening the rook) Bd7 (queen protects rook).
