Explains their basic formats.
http://beta.uschess.org/frontend/section_143.php is their main corr page which should link you to all other relevant pages (otherwise their search is decent if you type correspondence).
Personally, the only thing I play in is the annual Iowa Correspondence Championship htt ...[text shortened]... the record keeping. Server based is much easier in all respects except note/variation keeping.
Originally posted by cmsMaster Erm, not really, kind of I guess. GM Norm = 2550. IM norm = 2300 (I think...). It's not fair to say IM's can be better than GM's though it's still possible I'm sure.
I think tomtom232 is right. In my town two weeks ago there was a big tournament. With about 150 GM and IM. GM won the tourmnament but otherwise first 150 places were completly mixed beetwen GMs and IMs, even some FMs with better performance than GMs 😕

Hey Korch, have you got yourself a game against the big guns yet? If you did would you be so bold as to play the Grob/Borg? I doubt they would have seen those openings in a fair while. 🙂
