28. Nxg6...Rc8 Whites picking away the defenses around the king and black sets up a convincing counterattack.

wahoo im gaining on Rahim...
28. hNxg6--Opening Kingside, taking pawn, and gets ready to play Nf4 if black neglects his attack
28...fRc8 well...black isnt going to give white a chance to conter attack...atleast not yet...I have a feeling that black will do this as a last chance effort, a lashing out before humbly resiging. White only needs to play 29 Rxf7+ Kh6 (forced due to the knight.) then 30. h3 and whites gona get away with his pawns

28. Nhg6 so that the other knight on e5 can still put pressure on the f7 pawn which will be captured if the attacked rook on f8 is moved.
28. .... Ngh6 to protect the f7 pawn. All of Whites pieces are active precluding the rook on e1. If White takes the Black's rook on f8 it would mean swapping off White's active piece for Black's passive one - as a result there are less active pieces on the board.

28.Nhxg6 Nh6

28.Nhxg6 as the defending pawn at f7 id pinned, and...

28...Nh6 because black cannot move the Rook at f8 as Rxf7+ is winning....

I think black is done. His king is going to get roasted. White's king needs some luft soon.

29. Rbf7+ with an eventual 30.h4 to cover any escape square for the king and perhaps to eventually bring the remaining rook on e1 into play via the h-file. Also the move h4 will remove any hopes of checkmate on the first rank.
29. ... Kh6 and as soon as Black gets the chance he should swap off the knight on e5 for his rook. There are too many active pieces swarming the king.

29.Rxf7+ Kh6

29.Rxf7+ as te black f pawn is now defenceless and...

29....Kh6 as this is forced.

29. Nf4...Bd3 the white knight forks the balck bishop and h pawn. Bishop moves to d3 (there is no safe square) so an attack on white rook is opened up when white captures the blacks bishop on d3.
