I thought that this game was going the Caro-Kann route, until...
2. ... f6?
Can anyone check this game (still in progress) and explain black's reasoning? The eventual outcome is, I think, obvious, but is there a precedent for 2. ... f6? What would black hope to achieve? Also, the way that ALL the pawns come out before a single piece has been moved looks a trifle strange. Any thoughts, chaps?
