I always take em. Then again, I play only tournaments and clan games, no friendlies. I just got 3 points in my clan league this morning by claiming the timout.

One thing that I think would be good is to include timeout wins and losses on each player's profile. The timeouts would still count in the points, but people would have a better idea of the kind of player they are facing - without going through every individual public game. I know I would like to see it on my own profile - the wins I actually earned on the board and wins I timed out.
