DooOO00000d, if you wanna nice simple answer to e4, play d5, the center-counter, but DO NOT play 2. ....Q takes pawn, play Nf6, and you'll have an easy game that doesn't require a ton of book knowledge. Stay away from the Latvian Gambit, it is teh sux0r3
