have you even ever been to the uk? good food is everywhere if a. you look for it. b. are willing to pay for it and c. can cook yourself.

you're right with italy and france being europe's top two though. and i'll admit the best food that you'll find in the uk is either french, italian or indian.

Are you two still at it?

Mahout why don't you go across there and knock his teeth out.

I've had all my teeth removed after I lost a game of chess due
    to toothache.

True. Ask anyone in Bells. I often take them out and wash them
in other people's drinks. That's an ice breaker.

Best thing I ever done. I can pull some smashing faces with my
teath out. Infact I'll do a Chandler Corner this weekend with pics.
I don't care, teeth are over rated. Anything for a laugh.

Well not literally irrelevant, just irrelevant in terms of the comic purpose. I know a special needs teacher and I'll get her to help with my next post. Keep things simple for you.

Maybe your special ed friend can help you with simple math and explain the meaning of free as you do not seem to grasp the concept. Other areas of help could be explored while you're at it like word definitions as in r-e-l-e-v-a-n-t and how adding certain prefixes makes them o-p-p-o-s-i-t-e. However, since your special ed friend likely does not specialize in lobotimized patients nothing will get through. While you're at it get a hearing aid that filters out lispy crooked teeth speech and dark, dark shades to block the sheen emanating from the bright, pasty skin.

....is why I try to stay out of debates forum these days. My fault for provoking you. Sorry.

    I was bored.

    Now chess:

I played an OTB game tonight against a youngster. Won his queen early on then went on to
lose the game. He was rated 143 to my 96 so you'd have expected him to win. It must have
been psychological factors at play to let me throw the game so badly.

    1. d4 d5 2. c4 c6 3. Nc3 Nf6 4. Bg5 e6 5. Nf3 Be7 6. e3 O-O 7. cxd5 Nxd5 8.
    Bxe7 Qxe7 9. Nxd5 cxd5 10. Be2 Nc6 11. O-O Bd7 12. a3 a6 13. Rc1 Rac8 14. Rc3
    Na5 15. Bd3 Rxc3 16. bxc3 Rc8 17. Qc2 h6 18. Ne5 f6 19. Bh7+ Kf8 20. Ng6+ Kf7
    21. Nxe7 Kxe7 22. Qg6 Kf8 *

And I lost from here, having won a queen for a knight. Up to this point I was pleased with the
game. Didn't stay to see the other games play out, so hopefully it won't be a decisive result for
    the team.

Never underestimate a youngster rated higher than you are. I am also sorry about the silly debate we got in to for no reason other than pure puerileness on my part. Please accept my apology. You Brits are really lovely people.

Good point about not underestimating the youngsters - he was 11 - and impressive the way he fought on after losing the queen - something he was rewarded for:

You got really careless after taking his Q. Hung piece after piece. Were you in time trouble? I do not believe you were outplayed. You threw it away. I have noticed that the higher rated the player the more likely same player will fail to defend attacked pieces immediately preffering to give check or some other tactical/poistional move with nebulous intentions. We can all lose won games because getting up by a Q on a player makes us let our guard down.

Must be something psychological. It was like I had no will to will...must do something about this
if I'm going to stand a chance at a competitive game.

You played very well early in to the game. Your combination to win the Q was great. Winning a won game is very difficult indeed. Your basics/fundamentals are pretty sound, but you seemed to drift once you thought it was in the bag. C'est la vie like they say in London.

You seem obsessed with our t-e-e-t-h. My t-e-e-t-h are fine. You need to stop watching Fox News come to Edinburgh and I'll show you the NHS (Communists) in action...it's great. Free healthcare rocks

Nah! You euroweenies(yawn) bore me to tears. Never forget you owe us your ass and your language. You might be writing this in Deutche otherwise. At any rate, I guess you failed to read my apology to mahout. Socialism, not communism. But you would not know the difference. You also do not seem to know the meaning of free. NHS is not free! There is no free health care system on earth, except for mental services which don't seem to have worked on your psyche. Don't bother responding. I not only won't read it, neither will anyone else. I will only comment about teeth, I mean, chess!

What an entertaining debate this has been. Didn't English (as there is no such language as "American"😉 come from England? It is, of course, a Germanic language so we all speak Deutch anyway.
Has anyone looked at the intellectual capacity of the Mayflower pilgrims? Perhaps they were from doubtful stock and were sent away so as no longer to pollute the purer strain that remained behind in this "other Eden, demi-paradise". Just a thought. My teeth are fine, by the way.
