First of all, why is everyone siding with Kramnik? I read something about a bathroom in the Toplalov-Kramnik match? What exactly happened? I've been working like a dog for the last couple of weeks, and - sadly - I've missed the match news lately. Can someone clarify for me? I only know the news up to Game 3. I would greatly appreciate it! I was a Topalov fan.

..........Well, there's obviously some for supporting Kramnik. Alexander Zhukov has mobilized resources for this, now we see Svidler and Bareev heading to Elista. Kramnik's team is becoming as big a state priority as the old Karpov teams!..........

They are two specimen groups trolling the forums as you are: those who never learn, and those who never learn.
You belong to both.
Los Angeles:
How did you enjoy this little gem from the after-game (5/6) interview:
Veselin TOPALOV: Perhaps it sounded too emotional; there is nothing for me to be proud of. I shook hands with Kramnik, and the match continued. I believe that his play is fair, and my decision to continue the match proves it. We are humans, and sometimes we make mistakes.

It is a matter of psychological warfare on both sides. There is no guilty party in all this. It is all part of the powerplay they are playing.
Has anyone been using FIDE's internet coverage. Why does every website I know of have a more versitile and attractive chess viewing program than FIDE?
Also has anyone seen the statistics that Topalov's manager put together of Kramnic's moves with the Fritz 9's main lines. It's like 78%...
Well, ok, why not 100% So what if Kramnic thinks along the same lines as a top chess engine. Don't great minds think alike? Once a system or line of play is established there are only so many viable moves to choose from.

Now Mr. Danailov wants the world to think that he's accusing Kramnik of using Fritz 9.
Basically if Topalov himself matches up to Fritz 9 (or some other chess engine) 78% or higher, Danailov would think he is cheating as well.
Let's take a look if Topalov has a higher match-up.
Originally posted by ItalyBoyBlueHe's under 60 minutes and he hasn't made his 19th move yet while Topalov hasn't used 20 minutes. That's a pretty significant time advantage.
Kramnik is letting Topalov use his clock time. He needs to set his next move up and turn the tables on him. He is still almost on time though - 120min. for first 40.
